Although the 1.5 index and CR39 material still makes this a thicker option than a higher index lens the Enhanced Anti-Glare coatings will give you good cosmetic results if your Varifocal prescription is lower than +/-3.00 sphere powers. Although tinted lenses can be chosen to suit your style and personality, they can also offer significant benefits to your vision.

Solid Tints - One colour throughout the lens. The standard range of colours are Grey, Green/Grey or Brown. On request we can also tint most colours like pink, blue, yellow and so on. We can send you a colour chart to choose from.

Graduated Tints - The lenses can be made to be darker at the top, gradually fading down to a light tint or clear tint at the bottom of the lens. Graduated tints can be supplied with the same range of colour options as solid tints. These cost £25.00 more.

A Graduated Tint not only looks cool, it additionally offers flexibility when outdoors. The top part is darkest as of course sunlight is brightest when you look upwards. Apart from making you look like a movie star and disguising what you are thinking, MIRROR LENSES offer increased protection from the sun by reflecting more light away from your eyes, making them a great choice for particularly bright environments.

You will see a lot of discussion about whether to go for Polarised OR Mirrored lenses, but in fact you can choose both. This coating can be used IN ADDITION to Polarisation for the ultimate in Winter & Water Sport protection. Popular colour choices are Silver, Gold, Green and Blue, but we can also supply many other colours.

Mirrored lenses are ideal for anyone who is sensitive to bright light. Note that this layer of protection is applied to the front of a lens to reflect direct light - it differs from Anti-Reflection coatings which are applied to the back of a lens.

Although tinted lenses can be chosen to suit your style and personality, they can also offer significant benefits to your vision.

Solid Tints - One colour throughout the lens. The standard range of colours are Grey, Green/Grey or Brown. On request, we can also tint most colours like pink, blue, yellow and so on. We can send you a colour chart to choose from.

Graduated Tints - The lenses can be made to be darker at the top, gradually fading down to a light tint or clear tint at the bottom of the lens. Graduated tints can be supplied with the same range of colour options as solid tints. These cost £25.00 more.

A Graduated Tint not only looks cool, it additionally offers flexibility when outdoors. The top part is darkest as of course sunlight is brightest when you look upwards. Although tinted lenses can be chosen to suit your style and personality, they can also offer significant benefits to your vision.

Solid Tints - One colour throughout the lens. The standard range of colours are Grey, Green/Grey or Brown. On request we can also tint most colours like pink, blue, yellow and so on. We can send you a colour chart to choose from.

Graduated Tints - The lenses can be made to be darker at the top, gradually fading down to a light tint or clear tint at the bottom of the lens. Graduated tints can be supplied with the same range of colour options as solid tints. These cost £25.00 more.
